What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. While it’s an open secret that no one’s 100% clear on who entirely makes up the membership of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, what their credentials actually are, or how precisely their awards show came to be such a big deal, it is now simply an accepted fact that annually the enigmatic HFPA throws a big party to give out trophies, and the most gigantic celebrities of the big and small screens — rarely the sorts to refuse accolades, no matter how dubious — show up to collect them.
With 2013 coming to a close, the time is right for the inevitable Golden Globe Awards nominations, and sure enough this morning they were announced. Below are the acting award nominees for film; traditionally considered to be something of an inadvertent shortlist for potential Oscar nominees.
